Founded in 1977 by brothers Pete and Matt Gillis, Gillis Landscape & Garden Center has been proudly serving the Metrowest and Central Massachusetts region for over 35 years.

Graduates of Stockbridge School of Agriculture and both achieving Bachelor’s Degrees in Environmental Design at UMass Amherst, Pete and Matt have an extensive education in their field. They believe strongly in a hands-on approach with their landscape design and construction projects and both work from start to finish on site with their team.

Their personal approach, attention to detail and commitment to excellence allows them to transform outdoor “blank canvasses” into picturesque, functional spaces to be enjoyed for years to come.

Our Garden Center located at 258 River Road West in Berlin, features a huge selection of shrubs, trees, annuals, perennials, hanging plants, vegetables, herbs, bulbs and seeds.

We offer an extensive assortment of lawn and garden tools, supplies and decor, including fine copper kinetic wind sculptures, granite benches and bird baths, fountains, bird houses and many other home/garden accents.

Organic soil, fertilizers, pest control and lawn supplies are also offered, including specialty Coast of Maine products.

Bark mulch is sold by the yard with same-day delivery available, 7 days/week.  Masonry materials include wall stone, pavers, cobble, bluestone and more. There is also an on-site propane filling station.

The Garden Center staff is happy to help with plant selection and advice.

Delivery is available for large material and can be arranged at time of purchase.
